Supported Devices

All learners who sign up for any ClassAvatar program will be given access to the ClassAvatar LMS via this website so that they are able to see all lectures & learn without any special device support . All lectures are created in the Metaverse itself & learners will be able to see & learn the same without the need to join in via their Avatar.

For an immersive experience and to join in the ClassAvatar MetaCampus via your Avatar, you can access the same in 2D mode via Laptops / Mobile Phones as well as 3D mode via VR Headsets.

For a complete immersive experience, 3D mode is preferred but not mandatory over 2D mode as 2D mode does not support hand gestures of your Avatar.

2D Mode on Laptop & Desktop Devices

ClassAvatar supports standard display PCs, Macs & Chromebooks without the need for VR headsets/equipment. These devices don’t support features such as hand gestures or use of the 3D Pen, but provide the familiarity of a physical keyboard & enable other features, such as screen sharing (PCs and Macs only).

Windows PC

To access the ClassAvatar MetaCampus on a standard PC/Laptop,we recommend the following :

Operating System : Windows 10/11

Processor : Intel i5 or similar/better

Memory : 8 GB RAM

Storage : 9 GB available space

Graphics Card : Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better. Must be a dedicated GPU if using a laptop

Apple Mac

To access the ClassAvatar MetaCampus on an Apple Mac, we recommend the following :

Operating System : Mojave (minimum)

Processor : Intel i5, atleast 2.0GHZ and over 2 cores. (Please note- The platform does work on M1 & M2 devices BUT we currently don’t officially support them for technical reasons.)

Memory : 8 GB RAM

Storage Space : 9 GB space available

Graphics Card : Must be a dedicated GPU and minimum AMD Radeon Pro 560 4GB

Chromebook

To access the ClassAvatar MetaCampus on a Chromebook, we recommend the following :

Operating System : ChromeOS 109.0.5414.125

Processor : Snapdragon Qualcomm 7180 (ARM64) OR Intel Dual-Core Celeron N3350 (x86-84)

Memory : 4GB LPDDR4 RAM

Storage : 32GB eMMC with 9GB of available storage

Graphics Card : Intel HD Graphics 500

Smartphone and Tablet Devices

ClassAvatar supports modern Android (smartphone and tablet ) and Apple (iPhone and iPad ) devices. However, they do not provide the full suite of tools and features that are available on VR, desktop and laptop devices.

Android

To access the ClassAvatar MetaCampus on an Android device,we recommend the following minimum system requirements :

Operating System : Android 7.1.1 or later

Processor : Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or better processor

Memory : 8GB of RAM

Storage : 5GB of available storage

Some older phones may experience issues with performance

iOS / Apple

To access the ClassAvatar MetaCampus on an iPhone or an iPad, we recommend the following minimum system requirements :

Operating System : iOS 13.0

Processor : All chip or higher (iPhone 8 or higher spec models)

Memory : 4GB RAM

Storage : 5GB available space

Standalone VR Headsets / Devices

ClassAvatar supports the majority of second generation standalone VR devices, which you do not need to connect to a computer
